Synopsis
The villagers of La Morte Rouge are terrified, a legendary glowing monster has reappeared, sheep have been found dead, their throats ripped open. When Lady Penrose is discovered dead in the village church her husband Lord Penrose reluctantly agrees to allow Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to investigate the case, they have received a letter written by Lady Penrose pleading for their help. "Consider the tragic irony; we've accepted a commision from a victim to find her murderer. For the first time we've been retained by a corpse".
